Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage browned and drained
  • 1 15 ounce can pizza sauce
  • 2 6-7.5 ounce packages of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10 biscuits each)

  • 25 slices of pepperoni

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick spray.

  5. Place mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with cheese and sliced pepperoni.
  7. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through
  8. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

To Make It Dairy-Free:
  • Use your favorite dairy-free shredded cheese. Brands like Daiya, Violife, or Follow Your Heart work well.
  • You can also skip the cheese altogether—it's still delicious without it!
Biscuits:
  • Be sure to double-check the labels for hidden dairy. Aldi’s store brand or Pillsbury’s refrigerated biscuits are great options, but verify the ingredients in case they’ve changed.
Customize It:
  • Swap the sausage for ground beef, turkey, or a plant-based alternative.
  • Add veggies like diced bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrients.
