Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Melt the butter and set it aside to cool slightly.
Beat the eggs in a medium mixing bowl until foamy—just enough to see a few bubbles.
Add the flour, sugar, and brown sugar to the eggs and mix until combined.
Slowly stir in the cooled butter and mix well.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Spoon the batter into your unbaked pie shell and spread evenly.
Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and the edge comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving—or better yet, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
