Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked 9-inch regular pie crust (not deep dish)

This chocolate chip cookie pie has been a family favorite for years, and it’s hands down my most requested recipe. It’s one of those comforting, no-fuss desserts that comes together in minutes.
It travels beautifully and freezes well, which makes it perfect for taking to a friend. But it’s also easy enough for a dinner party — just stir it together, pop it in the oven as you sit down to eat, and by the time you’re clearing plates, you’ve got a warm, gooey pie ready to serve.
We always top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s simple and unbelievably delicious.
How to Make a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Melt the butter and set it aside to cool slightly.
- Beat the eggs in a medium mixing bowl until foamy—just enough to see a few bubbles.
- Add the flour, sugar, and brown sugar to the eggs and mix until combined.
- Slowly stir in the cooled butter and mix well.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter into your unbaked pie shell and spread evenly.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and the edge comes out clean.
Tip: If the crust begins to brown too much, tent with foil or use a crust cover.
Let cool slightly before serving—or better yet, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Enjoy!

Freezer & Sharing Tips
This pie freezes beautifully! Once fully cooled, wrap tightly in foil and place in a freezer-safe bag or container. To serve, thaw overnight in the fridge and warm gently in the oven. It’s also delicious cold!
Easy ways to share:
- Deliver warm with a pint of vanilla ice cream for a comforting treat.
- Slice and pack into bakery boxes or wrap in parchment and tie with string. Add a “Made with Love” tag for a special touch.
- Gift the pie frozen with simple reheating instructions—a perfect care package addition.
